Sam

Sam grew up in a dull rural village where his bookish, intellectual side was frowned upon. As the overlooked middle child in a family of nine, he often felt invisible. Wanting more from life, he followed Zack to Down Below to find purpose, only to end up stuck under Tok’s cheap labor at The Mart.

Cautious, witty, and sarcastic, Sam is socially awkward and pessimistic, often muttering his trademark line: “I have a bad feeling about this.” Despite his gloomy outlook, he’s fiercely loyal to Zack, patient with his antics, and brave when push comes to shove. His dry humor and logical thinking balance out Zack’s impulsiveness, even if it drives him crazy.
